I'm proud to be Iranian, not because of Cyrus, but because of Khomeini, a true anti-colonial leader who created the only true post-colonial state in the world, Islamic Republic of Iran.
I posed a question, not an argument. Do you have an answer?
Unfortunately, I don't read Persian, so can only read the summary. It would be great if an English translation of the whole article were made available. Can you help?
From my experience, anti-colonialism is not necessarily the first thing that comes to many people's minds when they think of Khomeini. As for creating "the only true post-colonial state" in the world, what of Algeria, Brazil, Cuba, China, India, Indonesia, Libya, Malaysia, Pakistan, South Africa, Syria, Vietnam, Venezuela, Zimbabwe or, indeed, North Korea?
Why do you think anyone who doesn't think like others must have lost it? Is that all your argument?
