The big new worry is South Kordofan, which is adjacent to Darfur, but not in it - and home to the Nuba mountains. The ethnic tensions have been simmering for years... with a lot of conflict over land, farming and grazing and were left unresolved in the peace agreement that ended the North-South civil war.
